I Need to Hug a Vizcacha
Habitat: South America
I know these balls of fluff look like rabbits, but they are actually more closely related to rats as they are in the same family as Chinchillas. I really couldn’t find much on these guys and honestly I don’t need to know much because I’m already obsessed with them regardless. Just look at that face! and the fat tummy! Talk about a living stuffed animal.

Hug? I want one!!
ppl eat this in my country… with vinegar
I think this is what I was in my past life because of its ears and because it likes to get its tan on
50,000 feet? That doesn’t sound right
@anonymous – they said 15,000 ft not 50,000!
Vizcachas are also known because they love to “steal” stuff they like and store it on their underground home.
awww anonymous that just made me love them even more!!! I wonder what their burrows look like.. probably decorated like martha stewarts place!
Looks like a ginormous chinchilla to me.
Super cute! Though I just ate one of those last month and had no clue what I was eating.
Anybody know what BBC programme this is from ?
ive seen one of these in peru. theyre just like chinchillas but they look like bunnies. super cute.
Sooooo cute…..I’m making a Vizcacha search 4 the school…..Excuse me 4 my bad english…..i’m terrible…..but i luv vizcacha. I hope my search will go good! I like your blog! (Because this is your blog,isn’t? I think yes……)
Oh my god, I can haz?
Probably my girlfriend will love to have a pet like that. Because she likes puffy bunnies and it looks like that word were invented only for that bunny.
I love your blog, and i’ve just looked on it in like 5 minutes! Sorry for my bad english, im from Sweden. And one question, why hasn’t someone started to tame them and sell them as pets yet? They’re soo cuuuuuteee! And they’re related to rats, and they already tamed rats to pets!
wow a giant bunny, is amazing, first time i hear something like this… they look lazy also xDbut why it is so big ?
