    Habitat: throughout the tropical waters of the world

    The Spanish Dancer nudibranch is one of the largest nudibranchs in the world, reaching a foot and a half (46 cm) long! Another of its distinguishing features is that its able to swim which most of its cousins cannot.

    Actually, its name comes from the fact that when it does swim it resembles a flamenco dancer's skirt ruffling. Check out the video of it doing so:

    Wow, it sure does look like it's wearing a ruffled flamenco skirt!

    My favorite pic is the fourth one though (by Mike Hohman from Flickr it says). The Nudibranch looks so cute there, with little antenna like things!
