Rainbow Toad Rediscovered!
You’re looking at the only photograph ever of the newly rediscovered Sambas stream toad or Bornean rainbow toad. This is the first time the toad has been seen in 87 years and it is the FIRST time it being caught on film.
That colorful, pebbly back of his which is covered with bright red, green, yellow, and purple warts is a sign of toxicity. The rough skin indicates the presence of poison glands.
