    This moth, Naganoella timandra, is one the prettiest I've ever seen. I love the bright yellow and hot pink wings against the black rocks in the first picture. Something about these just makes me a little bit happier. 

    I couldn't find any real information on them, so if anyone knows anything please leave it in the comments! For now, it's nice just being able to know they exist.

    They are also known as Dierna timandra, from a family of Noctuids (cutworms--their caterpillars eat forest leaves). There's a bit more on the family here:

    This moth is distributed in Japan, Korea and a part of Russia.
