Here's the next addition to my pigeon project: the Gaditano Pouter. Produced through many years of selective breeding, this pigeon is characterized by its distinctive "globe" or rounded throat with feathers.
I'm not exactly sure why someone would want to breed a pigeon that looks like it has a huge tumor growing out of its neck.... but to each his own I guess!

This is so strange!! Slightly cruel the things breeders do sometimes- im sure that gets in the way a bit :/
